This guide handles the Taming the Beast quest chain from the point just right before Thotar provides a taming Rod for the Dire Mottled Boar in Razor Hill. Thotar will provide you with a number of 3 taming rods, each is different and lets you tame beasts in the following order: Dire Mottled Boar, Surf Crawler and at last an Armored Scorpid.

When you have done the taming Section of The search chain, you need to head to Orgrimmar and talk to Ormak Grimshot within the Valley of Honor so as to unlock your companion pet handling skills: Tame Beast; Feed Pet; Revive Pet; and Beast Training.
